Video of Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done while not wearing a mask during the height of the pandemic surfaced when she and her liberal colleagues were mandating policies they actively ignored for themselves.

The owner of the San Francisco salon who graciously opened her doors to the congresswoman has been outspoken against California Democrats since. “My American dream is gone” said Erica Kious after living under the local ordinances and restrictions.

Kious received intense backlash after showing Pelosi courtesy, as all other businesses and salons were instructed to stay closed. Kious moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area to evade the oppressive policies.

Kious is not the only Californian who fled a blue state for red. She says nearly 80% of her entire Tennessee clientele are also Californians who recently moved.

At the time of Pelosi’s visit, in September of 2020, Kious told Fox News she had been conflicted about whether or not to even open her doors to the congresswoman. “It was a slap in the face that she went in, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work” she said.

“We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right? It is just disturbing” said Kious.
