‘Society loses when ‘dogs and cats take the place of children’, Pope Francis

Pope Francis said on Wednesday that it is a civilizational loss when dogs and cats replace children in society, encouraging couples to “take the risk” to become parents.

“The other day, I was talking about the demographic winter that we have today … many couples do not have children because they do not want to, or they have just one — but they have two dogs, two cats,” Pope Francis said at his general audience on Jan. 5.

“Yes, dogs and cats take the place of children. Yes, it’s funny, I understand, but it is the reality, and this denial of fatherhood and motherhood diminishes us, takes away humanity.”

Speaking in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall, the pope said that with this “selfishness” on the part of some couples, “civilization becomes older” as the “richness of fatherhood and motherhood is lost.”

“I ask St. Joseph for the grace to awaken consciences and think about this: about having children. Fatherhood and motherhood are the fullness of a person’s life. Think about this,” he said.

The pope’s first general audience of 2022 was marked by some changes. The Vatican announced on Jan. 5 that from now on religious and lay Vatican employees would read the greetings in different languages at the Wednesday audience.

For the first time, lay men and women read the language greetings. Sister Andrea Lorena Chacón, a member of the Eucharistic Missionaries of Nazareth, read the Spanish-language greeting, while Christopher Wells, an employee of Vatican Radio, was the English reader.

At the live-streamed audience, the pope continued his series of meditations on the life of St. Joseph by focusing on the saint’s role as the foster father of Jesus.

“This particular aspect of Joseph allows us today to reflect on fatherhood and motherhood. And this, I believe, is very important: to think about fatherhood today because we live in an era of notorious orphanhood,” Pope Francis said.

“May St. Joseph, who took the place of the real father, God, help us to understand how to resolve this sense of orphanhood that is so harmful to us today,” the pope said.

Pope Francis spent much of his audience speaking about “accepting life through the path of adoption,” which he called “a generous and beautiful” act.

“Joseph shows us that this type of bond is not secondary, it is not an afterthought. This kind of choice is among the highest forms of love and fatherhood and motherhood,” he said.

“How many children in the world are waiting for someone to take care of them. And how many spouses wish to be fathers and mothers, but fail for biological reasons; or, although they already have children, they want to share family affection with those who have been deprived of it. We must not be afraid to choose the path of adoption, to take the ‘risk’ of acceptance.”

Pope Francis underlined that “having a child is always a risk, both natural and adopted.” But he added that “it is more risky not to have any.”

“It is more risky to deny fatherhood, or to deny motherhood, be it physical and the spiritual. A man and a woman who voluntarily do not develop a sense of fatherhood and motherhood are missing something fundamental, important. Think about this, please,” he said.

Nigerian Senator Accuses Governor of His State Of Forming Killer Squad To Eliminate Opponents

Uzodinma should explain Ahmed Gulak’s murder, other killings in Imo – Sen. Okorocha

ORMER IMO State Governor Rochas Okorocha has challenged his successor Hope Uzodinma to tell the world the killers of former Presidential Adviser Ahmed Gulak.

Okorocha, who spoke with newsmen on Wednesday, also accused Uzodinma of instigating major prominent killings, including the death of some traditional rulers and over 140 innocent people in Imo and Anambra states.

Okorocha fingered Uzodinma in the state’s growing insecurity, noting that the governor maintained a secret killer squad code-named, Hopism Security Forces (HSF).

According to him, other members of the alleged killer squad included: operatives of the South-East Security Network, also known as Ebubeagu, and the Nigerian security operatives.

He equally alleged that the governor’s chief security adviser was the coordinator of the killing squad.

“Mr. Governor should tell the world, who killed Gulak. Who killed the traditional rulers? Who killed the 140 people? Who beheaded those beheaded and displayed their heads as if they had won trophy?” he said.

“He hired some criminals to implicate Uche Nwosu, my son-in-law. I have taken it as matter of honour to let the world know what is happening in the state. The governor goes to Abuja to tell Mr. President lies. I know Mr. President as one whose integrity is not questionable and he would not listen to those lies perpetrated by Uzodimma.

“The governor goes with killer squad anywhere he goes. He was made the chairman of APC governorship campaign committee in Anambra State and there were killings there. Since the Anambra election was concluded, there has not been any killing there. And in Imo State, since those he sent to abduct Uche Nwosu in the Church had been unmasked, no killing has been recorded in Imo.”

He challenged the governor to accept responsibility for happenings in the state, adding that he was out to expose him as the governor could no longer hide from the truth.

The lingering political battle between Governor Uzodinma and his predecessor has heightened in recent days following the arrest of the latter’s son-in-law Uche Nwosu in a church service in December by masked Police officers believed to be working for the state government.

The officers fired gunshots in the church and reportedly assaulted Nwosu’s wife and other relatives during the arrest.

A statement on Tuesday by Governor Uzodinma’s Chief Press Secretary Oguwike Nwachukwu also said Okorocha and Nwosu were funding violence in the state.

‘My American Dream is Gone’, Salon Owner

Salon Owner Who Opened for Pelosi During Lockdown Blames CA Dems

Video of Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done while not wearing a mask during the height of the pandemic surfaced when she and her liberal colleagues were mandating policies they actively ignored for themselves.

The owner of the San Francisco salon who graciously opened her doors to the congresswoman has been outspoken against California Democrats since. “My American dream is gone” said Erica Kious after living under the local ordinances and restrictions.

Kious received intense backlash after showing Pelosi courtesy, as all other businesses and salons were instructed to stay closed. Kious moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area to evade the oppressive policies.

Kious is not the only Californian who fled a blue state for red. She says nearly 80% of her entire Tennessee clientele are also Californians who recently moved.

At the time of Pelosi’s visit, in September of 2020, Kious told Fox News she had been conflicted about whether or not to even open her doors to the congresswoman. “It was a slap in the face that she went in, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work” she said.

“We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right? It is just disturbing” said Kious.

Oh My God! Democrats flood America’s streets with violent criminals

Image: OPERATION CHAOS: Democrats flood America’s streets with violent criminals ahead of planned false flag event

(Natural News) We all know that George Soros is funding District Attorney (DA) political campaigns across the country, making a mockery of local election integrity while installing radical left-wing Marxists into positions of power. These DAs now routinely release violent criminals back onto the streets while refusing to prosecute left-wing murderers, rapists, arsonists and other violent criminals. While conservatives are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, Marxists are handed “get out of jail free” cards.

As AllNewsPipeline’s Susan Duclos writes, “Soros District Attorneys Handing Whole Cities Over To Criminals And This Is Their Plan For The Rest Of America.”

But why? What’s the motivation behind the release of criminals onto the streets?

The answer, of course, is that Soros and radical Leftists need to invoke mass chaos across America in 2022.

“Background” chaos vs. chaos on demand

Here’s an astonishing but true headline from CWBC Chicago: Man carjacked woman while on electronic monitoring for two armed robberies and a felony gun case, prosecutors say.

What this headline reveals is how criminals who have been arrested and charged with a first crime are released and allowed to commit additional crimes, even while wearing ankle monitors.

Here’s another headline that reveals a similar phenomenon with illegal aliens who are arrested and then released onto the streets (instead of being deported):

Illegal Alien Charged With Murder Was Out On Bond For Stabbing.

Democrats, you see, actually want more violence on the streets. It’s all part of their chaos plan.

In Illinois, members of the state legislature are now being carjacked, seemingly oblivious to the fact that their own twisted policies are putting criminals right back on the streets under the label of “criminal justice reform.”

All the examples mentioned above are “background chaos.” They raise the overall daily level of crime and chaos, creating anxiety among the population by making sure no one feels safe. This alone is part of a psychological manipulation being played on the people by Soros and the Democrats. But it’s not the final play.

As AllNewsPipeline reports:

George Soros, the man behind the ‘Color Revolutions’ across the globe, causing unrest and civil war between state factions for the sole purpose of changing those countries into the progressive hellholes, has spent decades and sunk billions of dollars into doing the same thing here in America. If you have a city where criminal activity runs rampant, and District Attorneys and prosecutors either turn a blind eye, or simply release liberal violent activists, you will find Soros’ money if you follow the trail.

Chaos on demand is the other part of this. What most people don’t know is that felons are often released onto the streets under an agreement that they will participate as actors in carrying out whatever the corrupt Democrats want them to do. For example, a lot of the ballot smuggling operations that took place in the 2020 election theft were carried out by criminals who were granted freedom in exchange for their participation.

Democrats like to use felons for their dirty jobs because felons can be threatened with being returned to prison if they speak out or refuse to cooperate. “Leniency” is entirely dependent on their cooperation with various Democrat schemes, which include child trafficking, drug smuggling, weapons running, cash payoff deliveries and ballot smuggling operations.

The coming mass false flag event that uses democrat-controlled felons as crisis actors

There is a near 100% chance of a large-scale false flag event being unleashed on America before the 2022 mid-term elections. This is necessary for the democrats so that they can:

  1. Disrupt or delay the mid-term elections.
  2. Escape blame for Biden’s disastrous economic policies.
  3. Cover up vaccine deaths.
  4. Achieve their desired financial reset and destroy the dollar.
  5. Engineer a new way to blame conservatives, Christians and Trump supporters for everything that has gone wrong.

To carry out this large false flag event, Democrats will summon the criminal felons they run, dress them up as Trump supporters, load them onto transport buses and carry out some sort of attack that produces a large number of fatalities. This could involve them attacking a hospital, a Big Pharma company building or even staging an attack on the US Capitol Building in D.C.

CNN’s cameras will be ready to roll, of course, as the entire thing will be coordinated and well planned. To play well for the oblivious, vaccinated, medicated masses, CNN and the Democrats will need to make sure there’s plenty of blood and gore to shock the viewers, so you can expect a large casualty event to be pulled off by crisis actors dressed in MAGA gear (or posing as anti-vaxxers, etc.).

This event will be used by the Marxist Democrats in the same way they currently use the J6 narrative: To pummel their political opponents, carry out politically-motivated arrests while torturing political prisoners in filthy jails.

The reverse “Color Revolution” operation to watch out for

It’s even possible they could use these felons in a kind of reverse Color Revolution operation. Given the extreme unpopularity of faker-in-chief Joe Biden, combined with rising inflation and nationwide anger from lockdowns and vaccine mandates, globalists could stage something that looks like a conservative overthrow of the Biden regime by literally using half a million recruited and paid off felons and illegals who are ordered to march on Washington, dressed like patriots.

The corporate media might even be ordered to go along with it and express outrage that conservatives were taking over America. They could be “allowed” to succeed in their mission, forcing Biden to resign and ushering in a military dictatorship under martial law. This would turn over America to the “woke” Pentagon and cancel the mid-term elections while making some conservatives think they’re “winning.” In fact, they would be losing their constitutional republic and watching the entire system get turned into a military dictatorship.

Technically, even a so-called “return of Trump” could be nothing more than a slide into military dictatorship. Given Trump’s recent advocacy of the clot shots, Trump’s own integrity is being called into question by a growing number of analysts. Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, notably, used military troops to distribute and administer vaccines, proving that Trump endorses the use of the US military to carry out mass genocide while enriching Big Pharma. (I don’t buy all the excuses of why Trump is pushing vaccines. He knows exactly what he’s doing…)

Understand this: Globalists like Soros are masters of social manipulation. They are highly capable of corralling large numbers of people into taking actions against their own self interest, all while Soros earns billions on the ensuing financial chaos and currency collapse. (The George Soros profit model is to bet against a nation’s currency, then plunge that nation into chaos, causing a currency collapse.)

This is why you are seeing so many criminals being released onto the streets, and this is why the Democrats are running such an aggressive J6 propaganda narrative — because they are setting the tone for the much larger false flag event yet to be unleashed.

Forgiveness Is for Giving, so Forgive

Jesus waits for us to come to him—to forgive, to bless, to make whole, to make us saints

Some years ago, I was brought from death to life, from a world of mere survival to a world dependent not on my strivings, but on the God who loved me and gave himself for me and filled me with a purpose for existence beyond all I had ever known or imagined.

Two months later, it was Christmas—my first true Christmas, given my Jewish heritage interspersed with years of agnosticism. All of a sudden I noticed for the first time lyrics of Christmas songs that surely I had listened to and even sung but had never really heard for thirty-two years of my life.

“Joy to the world, the Lord is come.” I think I was in the middle of a shopping mall when the words of that familiar tune penetrated my heart. The Lord is come? He came? The words always said that? Do others know what this song is saying?

I looked around me. Thousands of shoppers continued on their way as if nothing was happening. Listen! I wanted so badly to shout. Listen to the words! The song is announcing the news of God-made-man—for us! Doesn’t anybody hear?

Time has lessened the blessed shock of those first days, but the deep joy and conviction of the truth of God in Christ that so gripped my heart has only deepened through the years, now even more so in the fullness of his Catholic Church. Still, there’s one line from a familiar Christmas hymn that I can barely sing without tears welling:

Hark, the herald angels sing,
Glory to the newborn king.
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled.

I still haven’t gotten use to it. God and sinners reconciled. What more of heaven could earth contain? What further proof do we need of a God who demonstrated his love for us in that, while we were yet sinners, he sent his Son to die for us?

But alas, so many do not believe. That’s not such a mystery to me—the mystery is that I do believe. And all because of grace—unmerited, infinite, matchless grace, freely given to a soul who longed for meaning and purpose and truth but who never imagined these things could be known. The title of the old Protestant hymn says it well: “He Was There All the Time.”

And he is here. He waits yet to give life, and to give it abundantly, to every one who will come to him. He waits for us to come. He waits to forgive, to bless, to make whole, to make us saints.

Yes, everyone. Murderers, thieves, adulterers, ordinary and extraordinary sinners . . . all of them . . . all of us . . . everyone.

He wants us to forgive even a mass murderer who leaves behind a trail of devastated victims who will never live a day without feeling the effects of their loss?

The answer is wrapped in the words of the beloved disciple, John: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him” (John 3:16-17).

Why? How could God forgive those who put his Son to death?

I don’t know. I don’t know why he forgave me. My sins were included in the bunch that drove the nails through his hands and feet. Even the centurion at the foot of the cross cried out, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matt. 27:54). Could there be forgiveness for him who put the Son of God to death? The centurion had heard Jesus’ words from the cross: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

Forgive them, yes. But him? The one who drove the nails into Christ’s body? Could forgiveness be his too?

Are you sure?

How do you know?

To an unbelieving crowd, Jesus said, “Him who comes to me [and he meant anyone] I will not cast out” (John 6:37).

And he forgave whoever would come to him—just like that?

Yes, if the person turned from his sins and believed that Jesus was indeed God’s Son.

I can’t forgive like that.

Are you a Christian?

Yes. I’m Catholic.

Then you must forgive such a person.

Oh, but you don’t know what I’ve suffered.

No, I don’t. I don’t know also the extent to which Christ suffered—none of us does. None of us will ever experience the depth of his suffering. But we must experience the depth of his forgiveness—for ourselves first, and then for those who have sinned against us.

How? In heaven’s name, how?

There’s only one way. The apostle Paul said it: Forgive “as God in Christ forgave you” (Eph. 4:32). And how did he forgive us? He took our sins upon himself, died the death of a spotless Lamb—for us—and he absorbed the loss.

What do you mean?

Forgiveness is for giving. If you sin against me, in order to forgive you, I need to absorb the hurt, of whatever kind, that has been committed against me, and release you from the guilt of your actions. What does that do? It sets you free. It also sets me free from the constant pain of bitterness, of wanting revenge, of unhappiness that I inflict upon myself because of your sin.

Forgiveness frees all that. It doesn’t get rid of the pain, or the loss, or the devastation I might need to live with, even daily, for the rest of my life. It doesn’t change the fact that my life may have been forever altered—as was Christ’s life altered, forever, by our sins—but it frees me from hate, from helplessness, from bitterness, from despair.

But what do you do with the pain? The scars? Your forever-altered life?

I give them to God, who knows all things and who is able to heal, in his way (the way of our salvation) and in his time, and to work all things together for good. And I—now, as a Catholic—have the inexpressible gift of offering to God and joining with his sacrifice the sufferings that once would have destroyed me.

It’s too hard.

Yes, I know—too hard alone. But possible in Christ. All things are possible with God, are they not?

Yes, but to be willing to forgive those who you would rather see destroyed . . . ?

It’s the only road to freedom—your freedom.

While still a Protestant, I worked as a chaplain in a women’s jail. One day, an elderly prison sergeant asked if he could join me at my dinner table.

“You the new chaplain in town?” he asked.

He wasted no time. “You chaplains take the scum of the earth and tell them to open that book of yours to page twelve. All they need to do is believe what’s on page twelve and they’re going to heaven.”

He spoke with disgust. He had seen many rough things in his seventy years. How could we chaplains be so utterly ignorant and blind to the despicable state of these inmates? I listened in silence the entire half-hour we ate.

On our walk back to the compound, I said to him, “By the way, have you ever read page twelve?”

Looking at me as though I was from Mars, he said, in good sergeant form, “No I haven’t!”

“Do you know what page twelve says?”

“Page twelve,” I said, “says that there is a Savior who came for sinners.”

“What about us?” he responded with lightning speed. “What about us good guys?”

“I’m sorry,” said I to him, “he didn’t come for you. Jesus said, ‘I came not to call the righteous, but sinners’” (Matt. 9:13).

Suddenly, the old sergeant smiled. That smile told me he understood.

I’m glad Jesus came for sinners, because he came for me.

May God bless you all this Christmas and draw you closer to one another and to himself as we celebrate the birth of the one who came that we might live.
