‘Greatest correction in the history of journalism’

It’s being called the “greatest correction in the history of journalism” and was made by the Washington Post in its report on a speech by Donald Trump Jr. back in September.

What is France Leaving Behind As It Pulls Out Of Mali?

France has begun withdrawing its troops from northern Mali as part of plans to reorganise its anti-insurgent forces deployed in the Sahel region under Operation Barkhane. French army bases in Kidal, Tessalit and Timbuktu will be closed by the end of the year and handed over to the Malian army. Air support will be maintained. But the current contingent of 5,100 French troops will be reduced to roughly 3,000. Adejuwon Soyinka asked Mady Ibrahim Kanté to explain the significance of the changes.

What has changed since France first intervened in 2013?

France intervened in Mali in 2013, “following the request” from the transitional government of President Dioncounda Traore to help combat terrorism. At the time, the then French President François Hollande declared that the objective of intervention was to “fight against terrorism”.

The declared intention was to deploy French troops in Mali alongside the Malian army to stop Islamist forces going to the south. But it could be argued that the strategic objective of the intervention was the protection of French security and economic interests in the Sahel and West African region.

The initial focus was on the interior of Mali. But the reality is that terrorism is a cross-border phenomenon. In effect France’s intervention was aimed at imposing a reverse domino effect that would allow it to face the terrorist groups in the region – and to impose itself again in the Sahel.

But there are few visible or effective results on the ground after eight years of war in Mali. And opinion has started to turn as Malians, as well as the country’s transitional authority, see the security situation in the country getting worse day by day.

While the France intervention was meant to help Mali combat terrorism, the crisis in the region has metamorphosed into an internal ethnic conflict. In the Mopti region there is conflict between the Fulani and Dogons, as well as between the Bambara and Fulani. In Timbuktu and Gao there is conflict between the Touaregs and Arabs on the one hand, and between the Touaregs and the Songhais on the other.

The French forces face many challenges, in terms of protecting civilians, this is according to a recent report by the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission (MINUSMA) in Mali.

In addition, France is accused of protecting and supporting armed separatist groups in Kidal, one of the desert regions of northern Mali, by many Malians.

It’s therefore clear that France has lost its support of Mali’s government, which has accused Paris of training terrorists responsible for instigating and exacerbating ethnicism in the country.

Combined with the population expressing their dissatisfaction about the presence of the French forces in Mali, France had no choice but to reduce its military deployment.

Is France leaving Mali better off?

First, we have to know that Mali has strong historical links with France since it is a former French colony. In the broader Sahel region, France remains the leading Western power.

But a majority of Malians have begun to doubt the sincerity of France, with mistrust becoming increasingly prevalent.

The other development has been Russia’s growing interest in the region. If all French troops were to leave tomorrow, Russian forces – under the Wagner group – would be ready to fill the gap. Russia has the capacity to do so. It has demonstrated recently in Central Africa Republic that it capable of dealing with one of the most important threats in that country.

In addition, Malian public opinion favours the arrival of the Russians.

What does the future hold for Mali?

Abandoned by its former allies, the Malian army is now on the ground without French military drones or American logistical support.

Added to this is the precarious political situation in the country. There was a change of government in late May after a coup d’état. A month later on 20 July, the new President of the transitional Government, Colonel Assimi Goïta, was the target of an assassination attempt at the Great Mosque in Bamako.

NIH Removes Language on ‘Gain-of-Function’ From Website Amid Criticism Over Funding Chinese Research

By Zachary Stieber October 25, 2021

The National Institutes of Health altered a key portion of its website last week around the time it disclosed to Congress that experiments it funded in China met the definition of gain-of-function.

The federal agency, known as the NIH, had a detailed explanation of gain-of-function research on its site, noting that the term refers to any research that modifies a biological agent in a way that confers new or enhanced activity to that agent.

But the explanation was wiped between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21—possibly ahead of the NIH’s most recent disclosures on Oct. 20 about research it funded in China that increased the potency of a virus by modifying it.

The updated page now says, in its only referral to type of research, that research involving enhanced potential pandemic pathogens (ePPPs) “is a type of so called ‘gain-of-function’ (GOF) research.”

It claims that “the vast majority of GOF research does not involve ePPP and falls outside the scope of oversight required for research involving ePPPs.”

Oversight involving research on ePPPs is governed by a framework (pdf) issued by the U.S. government in late 2017, on the same day the NIH lifted its yearslong funding pause on most gain-of-function research.

There’s no definition of gain-of-function inside the framework. The only mention of it refers people to a list of examples of activities that would and would not be considered to involve ePPPs. That list was last available in May 2017, according to an Epoch Times review.

An NIH spokeswoman confirmed that the webpage, a “backgrounder” on the framework, was altered last week, around the same time the disclosures were made.

Global Biowar Aims To REMOVE Humanity

Australian tyrants promise to FLOOD the country with virus-transmitting vaccinated people…

(Natural News) AUSTRALIA: Queensland health official Jeannette Young is now promising to flood the country with vaccinated super spreaders who carry covid, claiming on video, “Every single queenslander is going to get exposed to the covid-19 virus and will get infected.”

She adds, “We will be bringing in virus in vaccinated people…” and then specifically explains she is targeting unvaccinated people with this biowarfare attack by explaining, “But if you’re vaccinated, that’s not a problem.”

This unthinkable admission of coordinated criminal activity by the government of Queensland is just the latest assault on humanity being waged by Australian officials who are so corrupt and evil, it’s almost like they’re competing for an award from Satan himself.

Watch this stunning comment in the following video. The text callout was added to the video by someone else and was not in the original broadcast video:

Dr. Young is fully aware that vaccines are killing people. She previously warned that blood clot-inducing vaccines shouldn’t be given to people under the age of 50, saying, “Wouldn’t it be terrible that our first 18-year-old in Queensland to die from this pandemic died from the vaccine?”

Since then, she has been “corrected” by the genocidal medical establishment and anti-human news media that are coordinating their attacks on anyone who questions vaccines. Dr. Young has fallen in line and is now waging actual biological warfare against humanity, bragging that vaccinated people are the super spreaders who will infect everyone.

They’re not even trying to hide their agenda anymore.

Let us all remember the names of these criminals as the international war crimes tribunals commence.

The real threat from Cumbre Vieja / La Palma island volcano

In today’s Situation Update, we cover the Queensland attack on humanity, and we also cover the real threat to human civilization posed by the Cumbre Vieja volcano. It’s not the tsunami threat to the East Coast that’s the real threat here. It’s that the volcano might erupt and eject a massive amount of particulate matter into the atmosphere, darkening the sun for an entire year.

This would collapse the global food supply and lead to mass starvation around the world, followed by unrelenting disease and economic collapse. Naturally, all solar power would also be heavily impacted, resulting in a catastrophic collapse of “green” energy.

A similar event already happened in 1816, known as “The year without a summer,” following the 1815 eruption of Mt. Tambora in Indonedia. Following the eruption, a global food collapse commenced, leading to mass famine, die-offs, disease and collapse. As covered by AmusingPlanet.com:
